HL Landscapes delivered landscaping works for Acciona Georgiou JV on the Coomera Connector Stage 1 North package on the Gold Coast.
The Coomera Connector Stage 1 North package formed part of the broader Coomera Connector, a major transport corridor designed to improve north-south movement between Loganholme and Nerang and provide an alternative route east of the Pacific Motorway.
The Stage 1 North works covered the 4km section between Shipper Drive and Helensvale Road. The project included a new four-lane arterial road with provision for future widening, grade-separated interchanges at Shipper Drive and Helensvale Road, facilities for pedestrians and cyclists, and an almost one-kilometre-long bridge over the Coomera River and Saltwater Creek.
HL Landscapes worked within the requirements of a complex civil infrastructure environment, coordinating with Acciona Georgiou JV and other project stakeholders to deliver landscape outcomes safely, efficiently and in line with the project program.
Our scope included soil works, mulch placement, planting, turfing, irrigation, revegetation, erosion control, establishment watering or maintenance.
The Coomera Connector Stage 1 North package reflected HL Landscapes’ capability in delivering landscape works on major road infrastructure projects, where safety, coordination, environmental management and practical problem-solving were critical to successful delivery.
