Following on from the successful delivery of the landscaping to the Light Rail Project in Canberra, HL Landscapes was awarded the landscape works package to the train depot in Pakenham East, which formed part of the $2.3 billion High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) project. Working under the Downer Group, the scope includes the delivery of landscape works to the main train maintenance facility, two simulators and a stabling Yard.

The project formed part of the Cranbourne Pakenham Line Upgrade program which collectively created thousands of jobs and increase capacity, ease congestion and reduce travel times for the one million people living in Melbourne’s south-east corridor.
