High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) Depot, VIC

HL Landscapes have secured its first project in the garden state of Victoria! Following on from the successful delivery of the landscaping to the Light Rail Project in Canberra, HL Landscapes have been awarded the landscape works package to the new train depot in Pakenham East, which forms part of the $2.3 billion High Capacity Metro Trains (HCMT) project. Working under the Downer Group, the scope includes the delivery of landscape works to the main train maintenance facility, two simulators and a stabling Yard.

The project forms part of the Cranbourne Pakenham Line Upgrade program which collectively will create thousands of jobs and increase capacity, ease congestion and reduce travel times for the one million people living in Melbourne’s south-east corridor.

HL is looking forward to working with the Downer group and attending the odd game of “aerial ping-pong”!
