Lucas has extensive experience on large scale infrastructure projects Australia wide. He is a respected specialist regarding native revegetation and has the ability to provide experienced and trusted recommendations to achieve guaranteed results. Lucas has strong communication skills which promote open relationships with clients, suppliers and the team

Chris Martin

Business Manager

Chris has worked within the landscape and construction industry for over 20 years. Starting as a labourer whilst studying Horticulture at TAFE, he has been successful in winning landscape contracts in excess of $40 million across Australia.
Chris’s attention to detail and methodical approach to pricing projects is one of his key strengths and is something that often brings repeat clients.

Operations Manager

Tom has extensive experience on large scale projects in both hard and soft landscape construction delivery. As a manager with hands on experience and as a Contracts Administrator and Estimator, he has a broad range of skills and diverse knowledge of landscape construction which allows him to provide our clients with the confidence of knowing quality is at the forefront of HL’s delivery.

Ben Brown

Ben Brown

National Development Manager

Ben is passionate for the environment and has driven his career focus in erosion control, landscaping and revegetation. Having worked for, and with, leading environmental services brands, he can deliver project, business and industry results that are second to none. Ben emphasises the importance of collaborating with clients, in meaningful not tokenistic ways and to develop tailored solutions able to meet their precise objectives. Another key success factor has been his commitment to coaching and upskilling his teams, giving them clear direction and supporting resources, while creating an empowering environment in which they can innovate. In the fundamentals of delivery, Ben’s approach is methodical, with rigorous attention on every stage of testing, designing, planning, programming, resourcing and executing work.

Scott Pareezer

NSW / ACT Manager

Scott has experience on large scale projects in both hard & soft landscape construction. As a Senior Manager, Scott is involved in all levels of construction to ensure projects are delivered on time and budget, whilst upholding HL Landscapes high safety and quality expectations. He has excellent communication skills with clients, staff members and suppliers which assist in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.

Jeremy Smart

Jeremy Smart

QLD State Manager

Jeremy has been working in the residential, commercial and civil landscape industries for over 18 years, across both New Zealand and Australia. He has been involved in some of the largest landscape projects in New Zealand. Firstly as an on-site staff member to operational management thru to branch / regional management and has extensive knowledge of all aspects of landscape construction from understanding plant and tree husbandry to hard landscaping structures both vertical and horizontal.

Aaron Nix

VIC State Manager

Aaron is a highly experienced landscape professional with a strong background in civil landscaping and large infrastructure projects across Victoria. Aaron plays a key role in coordinating planning, logistics and cost tracking for major works including the Monash Freeway and Westgate Tunnel. Aaron brings a wealth of practical industry knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality, enduring landscape outcomes. His day-to-day focus centres on project execution and strengthening HL’s presence throughout Victoria, while also contributing to the growth and development of the local HL team.

Lachlan Hutchinson

QLD Estimator

Lachlan is a landscape professional with over 20 years of experience in design, construction, estimating and project management of public open spaces, civil and commercial landscape projects.
As a qualified Landscape Architect Lachlan has a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of clients’ needs and desired project outcomes. Lachlan possesses technical skills in estimation software, CAD and Adobe suite applications.

Michael Bennett has a strong commitment to understanding clients requests and expectations. A solid background in project management, horticulture and turf management has allowed him to provide a realistic and thoughtful approach to any project while delivering successful, quality outcomes. He is very dedicated to developing strong relationships, trust and personal growth.

Troy has been working in the finance sector for over 20 years and bring a wealth of knowledge to the HL Landscapes team. Working with Finance and Business Advisory companies, Troy is able to provide industry insights and external experience into the real-world environment of construction, in particular, Tier 1 and Government sectors.
