This week we caught up with our one of our QLD Project Managers, Mitch Peterson.

How long have you worked for HL?: 6 Years
What projects are you currently working on at the moment for HL?: Currnetly I am working on the Woolgoolga to Ballina, Section 7,8 & 9 project. Soon I will starting on the Sports Drive to Gateway Motorway (SD2GM), Everton Park Link Road (EPLR) and the Indooroopilly Riverwalk project .
What do you mainly do on a day to day basis with HL?: Program the day to day project activities, procure materials, oversee quality control and our subcontractors and liaise with the client.
What do you most like about working for HL?: The faith and support shown towards each other company wide to excel.
What’s the best part about your job?: The culture and comradery throughout the company.
What made you get into the landscape industry?: Honestly, a bloke at my footy club got me started in landscaping. It kept me fit and I was outdoors, so I have stuck around.
What’s your favourite meal?: Lamb loin chops
If you could add one luxury item to work utes, what would it be?: A built in fridge!
