Brisbane Metro ICS, North Quay and Buranda, QLD

HL Landscapes is excited to have recently been awarded both the Hardscape and Softscape Landscape packages to the Brisbane Metro ICS Project.

Partnering with Acciona, our works encompass the upgrade of the streetscapes and bus stops along Melbourne street, Grey Street, the Cultural Forecourt in front of QPAC, North Quay and Buranda station.

Over the next 18 months, HL will be responsible for the placement of new concrete pavements, stone paving, bespoke precast concrete seating, public furniture, advanced ex-ground trees, feature vines and planting. Being the first of its kind in Australia, the Brisbane Metro will operate from Eight Mile Plains to Roma Street and Royal Brisbane Hospital to The University of Queensland. It has been designed to address current congestion bottlenecks and meet the demand for frequent and reliable travel to the inner city, providing capacity for future growth.
